About the park
The territory of the national park is almost 30 thousand hectares, along which 8 excursion routes of various lengths and complexity are laid. If the shortest and fastest route in length is 3.5 km and takes about 3 hours, then the longest – more than 18 km, and their passage can take more than 8 hours. Beginners should choose routes A, B, E or F as they are quite short. We chose the path H for ourselves, because his plan seemed to us the most interesting.
Regardless of which path you take for a walk, you will be surrounded by picturesque landscapes. Particularly noteworthy are crystal clear lakes, where you can easily observe coastal fish, and waterfalls of various heights. To maintain cleanliness in the park, benches and trash cans have been installed so that vacationers do not carry all the garbage with them after a snack.
Unfortunately, the popularity of this place among tourists affects the comfort of stay. Huge queues are formed at ticket offices, when boarding buses and boats, as well as on narrow sections of paths and on bridges, which makes some beautiful places extremely difficult to see or photograph.
What to take with you
You must have with you:
- comfortable clothes and shoes,
- some supply of water and food (depending on the length of the trail),
- sun products (glasses, SPF),
- medications if you are allergic to insect bites.
If rain is expected on the day of the planned hike, then it is worth rescheduling the walk, as dirt paths washed out by rain are not so safe.
